Smart Thermostats Offer Energy Savings and More Control

Smart thermostats offer the ability to monitor and adjust your home’s temperature even when you are away.

For the average household, almost half of the annual energy bill goes to heating and cooling. That can add up to more than $900 a year. How you control your temperature settings will help you save money and stay comfortable in your home. Smart thermostats offer the ability to monitor and adjust your home’s temperature even when you are away.

Smart thermostats are Wi-Fi enabled and automatically adjust heating and cooling temperature settings in your home for optimal performance. The smart thermostats learn your routines over time. For instance, if you normally return home from work at 5:30pm it will begin heating or cooling your house ahead of time, so by the time you arrive your home is at the desired temperature. Another great feature is that they can be managed through your smartphone. This allows you to adjust your settings while you’re away from home. They also provide temperature and usage data that you can track and manage.

To help ease the cost of upgrading to a smart thermostat, we offer rebates on selected models that have earned the ENERGY STAR. Different brands of thermostats use slightly different features to help homeowners save energy, so do your research, and choose the ENERGY STAR smart thermostat that’s right for you. In order to qualify for the rebate, you must have an electric furnace or heat pump in the home where the thermostat will be installed.

We offer a $100 rebate on the following smart thermostats:

Nest 3rd Gen, NestE

Ecobee 3, Ecobee 4, Ecobee Smart – Voice Control

Carrier – Cor-TP-WEM01-A

Bryant – T6 – WEM01-A
