Please Consider a Donation to Helping Hands

Helping Hands provides emergency funds to customers who are unable to pay their electric bill.

by Franklin PUD Public Affairs

We have always been proud to see our employees and customers come together to help each other in times of need. We ask that you again, consider a donation to Franklin PUD’s Helping Hands program.  This program is made possible because of the generous donations from our customers, local businesses and community members.

The Helping Hands program provides emergency funds to customers who are unable to pay their electric bill. In order to qualify for Helping Hands funds, customers must be below 150% of the poverty level, pending disconnection or have been disconnected for non-payment.

Donating is easy. You can choose to make a one-time donation of any amount. The donation can be added to your bill payment, regardless of the payment method. Or, enroll in our RoundUp program, which automatically rounds your bill up to the nearest dollar each month (up to .99), you can opt out of the program at any time.

Here’s how to make a one-time donation:

With your monthly bill payment: Check the box on your billing stub and add a donation to your monthly bill payment or add a donation to your online payment.

At our drive-thru window: 1411 W. Clark St., Pasco.

Mail a check or money order: PO Box 2407, Pasco, WA 99302.

Place a check or money order in one of our drop boxes: HAPO Center (TRAC) & Franklin PUD.

Make checks out to Franklin PUD with “Helping Hands Donation” written on the memo line.

How to enroll in our RoundUp program to automatically donate each month:

Check the box on your billing stub and return it with your payment.

Ask a customer service representative to sign you up.
