2020 has been a tough year for many families in our community. The current situation with COVID-19 has put an extra strain on many households when it comes to paying for the most basic needs. At Franklin PUD we have a program that helps those in need pay their electric bill – it’s called Helping Hands.
Franklin PUD’s Helping Hands program is designed to help low income families in our service territory pay their electric bill. The cold weather creates an additional hardship, because more electricity is needed to keep homes warm, the lights on, and appliances running.
We have always been proud to see our employees and citizens come together to help each other in times of need. We ask that you again, consider a donation to our Helping Hands program. These funds are only available because of the generous donations from our customers, local businesses and community members. Will you make a donation to Helping Hands this winter? Every dollar counts.
Here’s how to donate:
- With your monthly bill payment: Check the box on your billing stub and add a donation to your monthly bill payment or add a donation to your online payment.
- At our drive-thru window: 1411 W. Clark St., Pasco.
- Mail a check or money order: PO Box 2407, Pasco, WA 99302
- Place a check or money order in one of our drop boxes: TRAC & Franklin PUD.
Make checks out to Franklin PUD with “Helping Hands Donation” boldly written on the memo line.
All Helping Hands funds are administered by Community Action Connections (CAC) in Pasco. Recipients must meet income guidelines. For information on receiving assistance from Helping Hands, contact CAC at 509-545-4042.
