PASCO, Wash. – During this difficult time Franklin PUD is working with their customers to provide support during the coronavirus pandemic.

“We are extending payments and waiving some restrictions. So if a customer calls and absolutely can’t pay, we work to see if we can connect them with our community action partners or other help, ”said Juan Flores, who is Cash Coordinator at Franklin PUD.

Flores is reminding customers, that even though the Governor Inslee is not allowing disconnects of service at this time, you still need to pay your bill. Even if that means making payments. The most important thing you can do is make sure you let Franklin PUD know your situation.

“At the moment the requirement is not to disconnect and we are honoring it,” Flores said.

“However, customers must pay as much as they can to avoid accumulating a large balance that is difficult to pay later. We are working with each client so that they have a plan in the future so that they can then pay off their debt little by little,” Flores added.

Although the building lobby is currently closed, you can call or go to the ‘drive thru’ window at our office in at 1411 W. Clark Street in Paso. Any questions you may have, please give us a call. We are open from 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Our phone number is 509-547-5591,”Flores said.
