(Pasco, WA) Franklin PUD and the Pasco Police Department have teamed up to help you increase the safety of your home and neighborhood through proper outdoor lighting. Well-lit neighborhoods and homes are less likely to be a victim of car prowls and home burglaries, and aids first responders in locating house numbers.
Pasco police officers will be placing friendly door tags on select homes notifying residents of their need for additional exterior lighting – or simply thanking them for a properly lit exterior. Franklin PUD and the Pasco Police Department are offering assistance with lighting resources.
Keeping an outdoor LED light on at night can cost you as little as $5.00 per year.
